I think I'm allowed to post this publicly now...
Anyway it's my entry for the Syd Mead contest over at CG Talk.
This is an image representing an idea where Air Cars have replaced Ground Cars. The large Arch Freeways use a form of magnetism to accelerate the vehicles quickly to the destined city. They are similar to current tunnels in the way they are lit, but these serve the purpose of hyper speed travel.

Looks sweet man. The cars look a little uniform, and spaced evenly. thats my only complaint.

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, i love the circle repitition and the colors throughout Syd Mead would be proud,
the only thing that strikes me as odd is the red painted pattern on the far left that doesn't seem to belong. Everything else is really crisp in the foreground with the Circle motif. It seems those loose painterly strokes are nicer in the background area being affected by atmospheric perspective which looks extremely pimp btw. Well thats my 2 cents, lol
